AOLmobile launches
After previously introducing their AOL Mobile Search, AOL has gone one step further to launch their AOL Mobile Portal.
The new mobile portal can be accessed with most mobile web browser such as Blazer on the Palm Treo 650 smartphone. According to AOL, this is the “personalized mobile portal that makes it easy to learn about, buy and use today’s hottest wireless communications and content services”.
Featured prominently is a service called “My Mobile Dashboard”, which allows users to easily manage cell phone features and preferences, such as IM Forwarding or Alerts and Reminders. Also available are the ubiquitous downloads of ringtones and screen savers for various phones.
