SMS Air Pollution info service

The London, UK borough of Croydon is initiating a 2-year pilot project to send alerts and health advice via text message (SMS) to people who are most likely to be affected by air pollution.
The free project, called airTEXT, is targeted towards people who have been diagnosed as having asthma, emphysema, bronchitis or heart disease. Participants will receive an airTEXT alert whenever air pollution levels are forecast to be moderate, high or very high. If successful, the project is expected to become a permanent service.
We really need something like this right now in Kuala Lumpur, as the API (Air Pollution Index) changes hourly due to wind changes, but it is only officially announced twice a day.
