Good news for those of you who are luckly enough to get your Treos sponsored by your company (or hoping to do so) - here's another reason / justification!

DataViz, the company that develops the MS Office compatible application Documents To Go (which came bundled with your Treo), has come up with Roadsync.

Roadsync enables secure, wireless and direct synchronization with your organization's Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. What this means is, you will be able to download and sync your Outlook email and calendar data over the air, directly into the Treo. When you reply, delete or add an item on your phone, it will be synchronised and reflected when you open your Outlook client on your desktop.

Dataviz also plans to incorporate new features in Service Pack 2 of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, including the widely anticipated "Push Email" (aka Blackberry-like functionality).

The Palm version costs US$50. If you think that's steep, it's really a corporate buy, with Dataviz providing a Return On Investment calculator and a free trial for companies.
