Each unit of the Treo ships with a copy of Adobe Reader for Palm OS. This piece of software converts PDFs on your desktop and synchronizes the documents with the Adobe Reader on your Palm for viewing. So how do you view PDF files that you receive in the email?

One way is to use Adobe's email conversion tool. Simply email the file to pdf2txt@adobe.com and you will get a reply with the converted text. From my personal experience, this method doesn't always work.

So far, the only native (i.e. no conversion needed) Adobe PDF viewer for the Palm OS is Picsel Viewer, which shipped with Samsung's i539 smartphone. PalmDoc from KVPUG has step-by-step instructions on how to download and install a copy of Picsel viewer on your Palm.
