Pocket Tunes 3.1, the audio player for Palm OS devices, has just been released. The main new feature is support for online music services that use Microsoft's Janus technology (a.k.a. PlaysForSure) such as Rhapsody To Go, Napster To Go, and Yahoo! Music Unlimited.
Pocket Tunes is a great player for listening to both music and podcasts. It integrates with desktop players such as Windows Media Player and Real Rhapsody, and has built-in support for Internet radio so you can listen to Shoutcast or Live365 stations. It also supports many formats including MP3, WMA, WAV and Ogg Vorbis. Be warned that the software will take a chunk of your precious Treo memory - over 1MB.
You can download a 15-day trial to see if you like the software. Pocket Tunes Basic is US$15 and the Deluxe version is $35.
