Finally, a mobile Google Maps implementation that works! Ivan Mitrovic has written KMaps, which is a Java implementation that's designed specifically for the Treo 650. I tried it out and it works flawlessly.

You still need to use the IBM WebSphere Everyplace Micro Environment (available at Palm's website, free for Treo 650 owners), but KMaps is downloadable as a .prc file.

KMaps is very simple to use, and you can set your zoom, unit (km or miles)and average walking speed preferences.
