The next time you watch a movie, you might be able to download a movie trailer direct to your Treo. CNET News.com / New York Times reports that 20th Century Fox and Loews Cineplex Entertainment have teamed up to distribute movie trailers, ring tones and pictures. The material will be distributed via kiosks in the movie theaters, and be accessible to anyone with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone like the Treo.

Hopefully the idea will catch on, because there’s so much value that can be added by the studios to the movie-going experience. Imagine going to see a movie and being able to download complete a message from the director, a behind-the-scenes podcast, complete cast bios, photos and even movie outtakes.
